Day started slow. Things were a bit weird between Toni and I to start with (I think she thought I wanted them all to go but this wasn't the case).
Didn't do very much, got some washing on, watched How To Look Good Naked, had some food. Before I knew it it was time for Toni, Aaron and Gemima to go and get their train home. House seemed very empty once they had gone too. I just kind of pottered after that, feeling a bit directionless.
Watched some TV, and the watched Ice Age 2 with Sam.
Spoke to Scott Neil and Doug Christiansen and did a bit of Capitals work to pass away the time before chatting to Toni on MSN once she had got home and settled.
Think my head is still a little foggy and last night's events are probably a good warning to prepare myself for what will be an emotional onslaught once we get to July!

Emotional wipe out!
I've been pretty good with my emotions but today I had a complete and utter wipe out.
Sam had got tearful talking to Toni about Sharon earlier in the day. Later on, a few us were lounging in the bedroom and talking and then Gemima asked who the girl was in the picture on my wall. I replied that it was my girlfriend who had died (the picture in question was the canvas that I had made for Sharon's funeral). At this point I had a rush of emotions and felt really low and then Sophie was talking to her friend on the phone about talking to people who had passed away and that just pushed me over the edge and I lay on the bed in tears and feeling really numb.
Poor Toni didn't know what to say or do and so made a retreat downstairs until I had recovered a bit. It's so hard trying to balance everything sometimes and trying to avoid impacting others with your feelings :o(

Hair dye and Bionicles and Ice Age
This afternoon Toni and I dyed our hair, Toni opting for a more purple colour with me going redder. Gemima had a purple streak put in her hair which was an interesting contrast with her ginger locks. She then got the nickname Gurple (ginger and purple).
After the dye we settled down to watch the second Bionicle movie. We then watched Ice Age which always makes me laugh.
