1000 Paper Cranes-Last day to donate

Regular readers to this blog will be well aware of my friend Miho's mammoth challenge to fold a 1000 paper cranes to help raise awareness and money for the Red Cross Japan Tsunami appeal.
They will also be aware that she has passed her original target and has (to date) folded 1408 paper cranes.
Well today is the last day of Mihos paper crane challenge and it is the last day that you can donate to her fund so please, please, please take a little time out and donate what you can to a great effort for a great cause.

1000 Paper Cranes-Update

Just a quick update about Miho's 1000 paper crane challenge. In case you don't know, Miho has been diligently folding paper cranes in order to raise money for the Tsunami relief effort in Japan and so far she has folded 960 cranes and raised £1,258.00. She plans to fold a crane for every £ raised so if you fancy helping the relief effort and giving Miho a few more paper cuts then just hop over to her sponsor page and donate a few pounds!

1000 Paper Cranes

Pika Pika member and good friend Miho Aishima is doing a 1000 origami paper crane challenge to raise money to help the recovery in Japan after the devastation caused by the recent tsunami and earthquake. As Miho explains "In Japan, it is said that whoever folds a thousand paper cranes will be granted a wish – my wish is for a swift recovery in rebuilding their lives and homes in Japan."
