Brief Synopsis

Plot

" President" follows Jang Il-Joon (Choi Su-Jong) as he runs for the 18th presidential office in 2012 to actually winning the election.

Jang Il-Joon was born from an ordinary educator family, but graduated from a prestigious university as a law student. When the country was under military leadership, Jang Il-Joon was a student activist and became involved in a once-in-a-lifetime case. He dreamed to become the new dream for Korea.

Since then he has worked as a three term lawmaker and a human rights lawyer. Now, Jang Il-Joon throws his hat into the 2012 presidential election, dreaming to overcome conflicts between ideology, class, and regions with his leadership.

Synopsis (KBS World)

Three months before the presidential nominating convention, Jang Il Joon, from the New Wave Party, declared his candidacy. On that same day, a woman died in a gas explosion in Sam Chuk. Yoo Min Ki, a documentary producer, heard of his mother's sudden death and headed back home. As he cast his mother's ashes in the sea, he thought of his childhood: his father always blurted out that Min Ki was not his son whenever he was drunk. After the funeral, Min Ki returned to Seoul and Jang Il Joon asked Min Ki to work as a PR agent to record the election campaign process. When Min Ki asked Il Joon why he was chosen, Il Joon confessed that Min Ki was his son.  Min Ki soon begins to suspect that his mother's death was not an accident and that Il Joon had actually killed her.

　　因为孙子很不听话，所以大雄（男主人公）被爷爷送去封闭式的学院，但是大雄却在途中逃跑了，并且逃到了三神庙，传说中九尾狐因为美若天仙迷惑男人而被三神奶奶封在画里，而这幅画就存放在这座庙里。九尾狐吓唬大雄，让他给画上的九尾狐画上九条尾巴。她因此解封得以来到人间。大雄却因为受到了惊吓不慎从山上滚下来摔成重伤。九尾狐用自己的狐狸珠救了他，并一路跟他到首尔，要大雄请她吃肉。并且和大雄约定不能告诉别人她是九尾狐。大雄虽然答应了，却不相信她是九尾狐，还说要是真有什么狐狸珠就拿走好了，然后就离开她。九尾狐还是找到了大雄，并在月亮出来时在他面前露出九条尾巴，并捧起他的头，想要把狐狸珠从他嘴里取出来。

　　九尾狐的听力非常好，大雄在电话亭里打电话时，听出了他所读院系和姓名，也能闻出人身上的味道，并且靠着这个跟踪大雄。但是，现代社会对九尾狐来说还是很陌生，她把马桶误认为是井，也不知道什么是汽水，甚至会好奇地从垃圾桶里捡易拉罐起来看。
