Hellfire Festival Day 1

Sam and I took off to sunny Islington for the inaugural Hellfire Festival. 3 days of metal mayhem.

Tonight featured 4 bands currently touring as the Killfest 2009 tour.

Torture Squad
Brazillian thrash merchants who kicked the day off with a wonderful set, they looked totally thrilled to be playing for the first time in the UK.

Scarlett Louise Malins is now a real person!

Sophie and Shane went to Chlelmsford Register Office and registered Scarlett's birth today so she is now officially a real person! YAY!

Congratulations to Emma and Dren

Just found out that Emma and Dren have just engaged. What a fantastic birthday present for Emma. It's actually quite funny because when they first met they didn't exactly hit it off but I am really please for them. Despite things not working out between us oh so very long ago Emma is a cracking girl and I really like Dren and wish the both of them a very happy future.

Congratulations to the pair of you!
