Brickfair Finds: ApocaLEGO

A theme name so tragic, only a mother could love it. Apocalyptic models have been beaten to death, resurrected as zombies, and beaten to death once more. But like Rasputin, they cannot be stopped, and like Marley, they continue to be covered in chains. Some choice pics:

The structurally inaccurate Washington Monument still grates at the eyes. It is not entirely the builder's fault; he based it off an appearance in Fallout 3. But for the designers of Fallout 3 to get it so wrong is breathtaking and disappointing. It is not a steel frame clad in stone. It is just stone. In fact, it is the WORLDS TALLEST STONE STRUCTURE. Bold underlined italics caps-lock exclamation point! It is famous for being stone. Who are these incompetent game designers, and where are their houses so we can replace the wood studs with taffy and laugh when the structural inaccuracy smothers their families under collapsing roofs?!?

Deep breath. "Take me to the kittens!"

Are we done? Can we not build this theme anymore? You did it guys, you destroyed DC. 10 points to Gryffindor! Now move on.
