Herbalism is the traditional alternative system of medicine which is based on the use of plants and plants extracts to heal the various ailments and diseases in a body. Also known as botanical medicine, medicinal herbalism, herbal medicine, herbology and phytotherapy, Herbalism is the 'Father of all Modern Medicines'. The use of herbal remedies can be traced back to 3,000 years backs. It has always remained an popular system of medicine throughout China and Far East and is slowly growing in popularity throughout United States.
