Dick Clark, 80, Hosts New Year’s Rockin’ Eve 2010 with Ryan Seacrest Video

Dick Clark turned 80 in November and will be on hand for the countdown to 2010 on “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2010″. The ABC show will feature entertainment from multiple locations. Fergie will co-host from Las Vegas and Melissa Rycroft will do color commentary from Times Square.

Performing in New York City will be Jennifer Lopez and Daughtry. Las Vegas acts will include The Black Eyed Peas
, Selena Gomez, Justin Bieber, Keri Hilson, Colbie Caillat, Orianthi, Robin Thicke and David Guetta.

Veteran host Dick Clark suffered a stroke in December 2004 and had to skip the annual broadcast that he began hosting in 1972. His role in subsequent years has been greatly reduced, with the majority of the hosting
duties being performed by Seacrest.

The ABC show will air on Thursday, December 31 at 10:00 p.m. eastern.
