This fair is the time, which brings thousands of artisans from various parts of the country under one platform to showcase their talent and won appreciation for their good work. Every year a new state is selected for the theme and the entire decoration is changed is changed accordingly. Beneath the thatched roof platform skilled craftsmen, weavers, painters and sculptors display the finest handlooms and handicraft items. Apart from that Chinese and snacks food is also available along with sweets like sandesh, ramalai, gajar ka halwa, moong daal halwa etc. The Highlight of the craft mela are the Natyashala folk dances and the traditional music programmes organized at open air theatre.
