One of the wedding decisions most often fraught with concern is how to choose your wedding ceremony music. Should it be musicians or a DJ or an iPod controlled by your cousin Fred? How do you know who you can trust of the many choices out there and how do you choose the music that is played?
I came across a very helpful blog post today by Mary Page Block, founder of Arioso Strings, that addresses this very subject. Having worked with Mary and her musicians many, many times over the years, I have found them to be first class, talented professionals and you can tell Mary knows what she is talking about. I hope you will stop by her blog and read what she has to say. You might just save yourself a lot of missteps in the process.
A link to her excellent post can be found here.

The photo used here is from a page on Oakland East Bay Symphony’s website that explains all the types of instrument families in an orchestra. For those of you interested, it’s a fun read and very illuminating.
