Wooden Steamship L.R. Doty Found 300 Feet Under Lake Michigan

The L.R. Doty was carrying a cargo of corn in October 1898 when a windy snowstorm churned up 30-foot waves between Chicago and Ontario. The 300-foot long wooden steamship was recently found in 300 feet of water.
