The Pushkar Fair is no less than Wikipedia on the cultural rituals and traditions of the state of Rajasthan. It is he time when people from far and wide gather at one place for festive celebrations. The most entertaining are traditional dances, folk music and short skits based on the great Indian epics Mahabharata and Ramayana.

Hindu devotees can be seen flocking around the Pushkar Lake for the holy dip in its water, in order to get rid of all the sins of the past. Pilgrims can be seen gathering at the temple to pay homage to Lord Brahma.
