India is a beautiful country having various locations right from plains, hills, valleys, river banks, seas, coast areas to golden deserts. Pilgrimages in India:

Hindu Pilgrimage: In North India you can visit one of the holiest places like Varanasi, Allahabad (also known as Prayag - famous for Kumbh Fair), Mathura (birthplace of Lord Krishna), Ayodhya (birthplace of Lord Rama). Holy places in the Eastern India are Puri in Orissa (Famous for Jagannath temple and Rath yatra). In The West Dwarka is the holy place and kingdom of Lord Krishna. Sikh Pilgrimages: Some of the most famous Sikh Pilgrimages are Golden Temple (Amritsar),which is the holiest place of Sikhs.
