Ford Prices MKZ Hybrid The Same as Gasoline Model;

Ford is the second largest automaker in the United States and it has been rebounding in a big way over the past few months. The highly anticipated Lincoln MKZ Hybrid is one of Ford's latest and best models. Competing Cadillac and Chevy models can be seen at a Sarasota Chevrolet Dealer. Lincoln is a luxury brand that Ford has decided to focus its efforts and marketing on after discarding their Mercury vehicle brand. Other luxury competitors include models found at Bossier City Mercedes-Benz Dealers.

VW Dealer businesses do not compete directly with Ford's Lincoln brand, but they do compete with Ford dealers throughout the country and VW models are some of the most popular in the world. Ford has designed to price its Lincoln MKZ Hybrid the same as the convention gasoline sibling. This is the first time this has ever happened, and it is interesting to see how Ford will maintain its profitability with this option. For those looking to purchase the Lincoln, the MKZ Hybrid version just seems to be the logical choice. The model will start at $35,180 including delivery charges.

The next competitor is the Lexus HS 250h which is the next closest competitor in terms of fuel efficiency. The HS 250h is an excellent choice that offers luxury and comfort features that are comparable and different in many ways than the MKZ Hybrid. However, Lexus also offers less space in their HS 250h along with less fuel efficiency.

The Ford Fusion has been one of the most acclaimed recent releases by Ford. There are several other models with just as much excitement such as the Lincoln MKZ Hybrid and the Ford Explorer which are two totally revamped or new models that are going to be strong competitors in their segments. The MKZ Hybrid is the leading fuel efficient luxury model in the world whereas the Ford Explorer (2011) is now one of the most fuel efficient SUV models in the world.

Lincoln MKZ Hybrid is a One-of-a-Kind Model;

The Lincoln MKZ Hybrid which is based on the Ford Fusion’s architecture, is Lincoln’s first hybrid offering. VW Peoria is a major Volkswagen dealer and Volkswagen is a competitor to Ford for several markets. The Lincoln MKZ Hybrid features all of the above with its excellent fuel efficiency, luxury and technology features, and affordable price compared to other luxury models. Ford has a partnership with Japanese automaker Mazda, whose latest cars can be viewed at a Mazda Bradenton dealer or at New York Mazda.

The Ford Fusion is Motor Trend’s 2010 Car of the Year for many reasons including its fuel efficiency, features, and price. The Lincoln MKZ Hybrid features a 2.5 liter four cylinder engine that is combined with an electric motor for a total of 191 horsepower. The Lincoln MKZ Hybrid is capable of running on battery power exclusively for up to 47 mph. The Lexus HS 250h maxes out at 26 mph before it switches to fuel power. It too features a four cylinder gasoline engine combined with an electric motor.

With the Ford Fusion platform, the MKZ Hybrid features 41/36 mpg which is the highest for any luxury model. The next highest, the Lexus HS 250h is 6 mph less efficient. What is even more impressive is that the MKZ Hybrid has capacity for one additional passenger compared to the Lexus HS 250h.

The Lincoln MKZ has Bridge of Weir leather seating which is also environmentally friendly. Other features include heated and cooled seating, wood trim that is harvested with environmentally friendly methods, and seven major safety features.

The Lexus HS 250h is considered the major competitor for Ford’s Lincoln MKZ Hybrid and so far it looks like Ford’s model is quite ahead of Lexus’s in terms of features, capabilities, and most importantly, fuel efficiency. Also, recently Lexus has been involved in a number of recalls starting with a fire risk in the Lexus HS 250h that resulted in 17,000 recalls, and most recently an engine stalling risk that affected several other Lexus models.
