Victoria Memorial : Built in 1901, Victoria Memorial is the memorial of Queen Victoria also called the Empress of India. Prince of Wales- King George V, laid the foundation stone in 1906 and it was publically opened in 1921.
Dalhousie Square : Located just south of Howrah Bridge, BBD Bagh or the Dalhousie Square is the most popular tourists attraction in Kolkata. The area consists of many historical buildings, offices, business centers and banks which surround the square.
Streets and Architecture : This 300 year old city is best discovered through its age old streets and architectural patterns. Explore the city's northern parts – Shobhabazar, Shyambazar, Bagbazar, Sithi, that will make you familiar with the architectural patterns of the British and the Bengali architcets of the previous centuries.
