Detailed Itinerary :
Day : 1 Arrival at Delhi
The Classical North India tour will unfold with your landing at the Delhi airport on the first day of the tour. Halt and than in the afternoon we start with the sightseeing tour of Delhi, the historical city is known for housing plenty of heritage monuments. The tour will let you see some of the interesting places that have shaped the history of India in the past. Today we will be covering Qutab Minar, Humayun's Tomb, Parliament and Laxmi Narayan Temple. During the evening we will spend quality time at the Delhi Hart, that introduces you to the unique art and craft of the country. You will love exploring the Indian Artifacts, paintings, metal ware, stonework, woodwork, terracotta, jewelery, lac and glass work, leather work, blue pottery and traditional Indian puppets. One can even carry some of these items back to the home as memento.
Day 2 : Delhi
To give you the better insight of the city, today we will be touring to the old areas of Delhi near the Red Fort and Jama Masjid. We will also take the rickshaw ride in Chandni Chowk winding through the labyrinthine lanes, exploring the various shops in the area. The pleasure of taking the rickshaw ride in Chandni Chowk will provide you the different prospective of the market, which is otherwise considered as the only one of the shopping avenues in Delhi. The ride is cost effective that gives you the chance to glance at the colorful streets. After the exciting rickshaw ride in Chandni Chowk we make visit to Raj Ghat, the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi, 'The Father of Nation'. In the evening we will move back to the hotel room, relax and have a evening snacks. Than after tea will take the leisure walk at the around the hotel. Overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 3 : Delhi – Jaipur
On the third day of the tour we drive to Jaipur, and check in at the hotel, that is booked for you in advance. The very first step in the Jaipur surrounds you with the aura of royalness and luxury. The 'Pink City' of Jaipur with tremendous of its historical importance possesses many historical monuments. As you must be exhausted after the long journey, so you will have ample time to rest in the hotel room till afternoon.
For the evening there is surprise store in for you. We take you to Chowki Dhani, a virtual village having the incense of the typically Rajasthani culture. You are welcomed by the young men wearing turbans, saying namaste and putting red dot (tilak) on the forehead. As you go inside you will come across various acts such as magician show, animal rides, puppetry, traditional dances, boating, mehandi and photography in Rajasthani costumes. The whole area is set in the rural kind of ambiance. But one thing that attracts you the most after dancing is the authentic Rajasthani cuisine. Food is served on the plates made of the leaves. They serve over twenty Mar wadi dishes which included Baal baas, anchorman, Bugatti Sabin, bare chi hiding, and lots of mouth watering dishes. After fun and adventure at chowder Shani we move back to the hotel room for the overnight stay.
Day 4 : Jaipur
The forth day come with full day sightseeing tours to Jaipur. We start our excursion trip with the magnificent City Palace. The interiors of the Palace consists of halls decorated with miniature paintings, carpets, old weapons and robes of royal princess. The most interesting thing you will love watching in City Palace are the two 1.6 m tall silver vessels, which were used for the Ganges River water taken to the England in 1902. They are made from coins and are listed in the Guinness Book of Records. After the City Palace we move to the Margaretha Palace, located on picturesque hill providing the glimpse of the whole city below it. Here we get the opportunity to be at the place where the famous Pamirs Khan's movie Rang De Bas anti was shotted.
We stop at the local restaurant for the lunch break and soon after we move to the Batu Bazaar. It is one of the most popular market in Jaipur. Here you may find variety of shops selling books, Kurtis, Kurtis, jewelery, Gandhian, juts, pottery and puppetry. You will surely love the handicraft items sell by the local artisans and their families in the market here. Then after shopping we move back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5 : Jaipur – Agra via Fatehpur Sikri
On the 5th day of the tour we drive to the historical city of Agra, totally filled with the glory of old world charm. En route we explore Fatehpur Sikri, the political capital of India's Mughal Empire under Akbar's reign, from the year 1571 until 1585, when it was abandoned, ostensibly due to lack of water. We visit Emperor Akbar's Residential complex, Mosque & Tomb of Salim Chisti. We first check in at the hotel. Take the complete rest till afternoon. In the evening we move out for the small leisure walk in the nearby area and return back to the hotel for the overnight stay.
Day 6 : Agra
The portrayal of city of Agra in its true colors unfolds for you on the 6th day of the tour. The whole day you will be engaged in the sightseeing tour. First of all we leave for Taj Mahal – one of the most wonderful monument of the world. Tourists from all over the world are left spell bounded after witnessing the bewitching beauty of Taj Mahal. The amazing marbled beauty of this place will stun with with its great architectural work. As soon as we are over with Taj Mahal we will proceed towards the Agra Fort. Besides being the city of Taj Mahal, Agra is also the city of Agra Fort, that is one of the finest example of the Mughal architecture.
Then we will check out the Akbar's Tomb, an excellent example of assimilation of different styles of architecture. The tomb carries the characteristic flavor of the airy tiered pavilions of the Agra Fort and Fatehpur Sikri. Halt. Than we move to the Itmud-Ud-Daulah-Tomb that is considered as the imminent precursor of the Taj Mahal as far as elaborate carvings and inlay work are concerned. The tomb marks a significant departure from the tombs of the Mughal dynasty built before its construction. At night we return back to the hotel for the overnights stay.
Day 7 : Agra – Jhansi (Shatabdi Exp)
After the Agra tour is over, we take the Shatabdi Express train to Jhansi. From Jhansi, we drive to Khajuraho, en route we visit Orchha, located at the distance of 16 km from Jhansi. Here we get the opportunity to explore the 16th century palaces and temples built by the built by the Bundela rulers. Than we move to Orchha Fort Complex , that also houses the Jahangir Mahal, built by Raja Bir Singh Ju Deo in the 17th century to commemorate the visit of Emperor Jehangir to Orchha. WE will also visit Raj Mahal Ram Raja Temple . In the evening we continue our drive to Khajuraho – the World Heritage Site. We check in at the hotel in Khajuraho.
Day 8 : Khajuraho
Today we visit Khajuraho temples, famous for the magnificent carvings depicting numerous exotic postures of the famous Kamasutra, ancient Indian work on sex. Only 22 temples survive of the 85 originally built. In fact, worship is still done today in the Matangeshwara temple, continuing an unbroken 1000 year tradition. During the evening we will enjoy the sound and light show and soon after that we drive back to the hotel for the overnight stay.
Day 9 : Khajuraho – Varanasi (Flight)
In the morning of the 9th day we will further our tour and will take a flight to Varanasi – one of the oldest inhabited city known in the world. We check in at the hotel booked for us in advance. In the later half of the day we will be visiting the holy ghats and ancient temples of the city. It is considered as one of the holiest cities in India. Than we come back to the hotel for the over night stay.
Day 10 Varanasi – Kathmandu (by flight)
Today we start our day with the boat ride on the river Ganges and attend the morning prayer on the Ganga Ghat. Witness the daily miracle to unfold, as the Sun appears triumphantly over the horizon. The sound of conches & temple bells add to the delicate pink fabric of dawn. The formerly hushed murmuring of ancient Sanskrit Shlokas (hymns) now rise, in one voice, to a crescendo of unparalleled piety & joy. Later we explore the city by foot and than transfer to the airport to catch the flight for Kathmandu.
Day 11 : Kathmandu
After Breakfast we will taking the sightseeing travel to Kathmandu exploring the Hindu religious temples like religious temples like Pashupatinath, Kashthamandap, Machchendra Nath Temple, Manakamna, and Mukti Nath that will let you vow before several Hindu Gods and get blessed. Than we proceed towards the Royal Botanical Garden that will introduce you to the Nepal wildlife and Himalayan beauty.
Next on our tour package comes the Patan city known as Lalitpur, the city of fine arts and beauty. Next comes Swambhunath stupa, which watches over the valley from the top of a hillock on its western side. The huge stupa is one of the holiest Buddhist sites in Nepal and its establishment is linked to the creation of Kathmandu valley out of a primordial lake. Overnight stay at the hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 12 : Kathmandu – Pokhara
On the 12th day of the tour we drive to Pokhara known as the Valley city of Nepal. It will let you understand the vast richness of the Himalayan beauty and Buddhism culture. In the first half of the day we will indulge in sightseeing and in the later half of day we will be hiking or trekking, as per your preferences. Overnight stay at Pokhara hotel.
Day 13 : Pokhara
Today we will discover the old shops and architecture, most popular in the city of Pokhara. WE will make a visit to 6the temples like the Bindhyabasini Mandir and the World Peace Stupa that are worth seeing. After sightseeing we take a nature walk at the Phewa Lake and will appreciate the beautiful diversity of the flowers, which prosper in its environs. Pokhara is lovely place to relax and spend time at leisure. We stay here overnight.
Day 14 : Pokhara - Nagarkot
Today on we drive down to Nagarkot, located at the distance of 265 km from Pokhara. It is a popular hill station situated east of Kathmandu at an altitude of 2175 m. above sea level. The panorama of the major peaks of eastern Nepal Himalayas including Mt. Everest can be seen from here. The best point for sunrise view. On arrival we assist you to check in at our Hotel for overnight stay.
Day 15 : Nagarkot - Kathmandu
Kathmandu - Delhi (by flight)
Delhi departure
Early morning visit to Sunrise Point. Post breakfast on time we drive down to Kathmandu airport to board flight for Delhi. We arrive Delhi airport and transfer to departure terminal to board flight for onward journey.
